Offered for sale is the exceptionally rare and highly collectible Omega De Ville "Designed by Andrew Grima" reference 511.0383, a remarkable fusion of Swiss watchmaking and twentieth-century design. Produced in 1973, this watch belongs to the legendary collection created by Andrew Grima, one of the most influential jewelry designers of the modern era. Often referred to as the "Jeweller of Modernism," Grima designed pieces for royalty, celebrities, and leading museums, and his collaboration with Omega produced some of the most distinctive watches the brand has ever created.
This reference perfectly showcases Grima's architectural design language, featuring a striking rectangular case, dramatic faceted crystal, and beautiful blue brushed dial that appears to float beneath the crystal. More a wearable work of art than a conventional dress watch, it remains one of the most sought-after designer Omegas from the 1970s.
Presented in very good condition, the watch was fully serviced by our in-house Swiss-certified watchmaker on 20.05.2026 and is functioning perfectly. It is fitted with a new/unworn original Omega leather strap suitable for wrists up to 18 cm.
The watch comes with its original presentation box, together with our PW Certificate of Authenticity and PW Service Certificate Card.
A rare opportunity to acquire a genuine piece of Omega and design history, combining iconic 1970s aesthetics, the celebrated Omega Caliber 625 manual-winding movement, and the unmistakable vision of Andrew Grima.
