A timeless icon of Cartier elegance, the Cartier Panthère Ref. 1057917 perfectly captures the brand’s fusion of jewellery craftsmanship and Swiss precision. Introduced in the 1980s and adored throughout the 1990s, the Panthère became a symbol of effortless sophistication — defined by its fluid link bracelet, Roman numeral dial, and unmistakable Cartier charm.
This particular example, produced in 1991, is in very good condition and comes as a complete full set from its original owner. Included are the original Cartier presentation box, documents holder, Certificat De Garantie Internationale dated 26 February 1991, Représentants Agréés booklet, and PW Certificate of Authenticity along with a Service Certificate dated 18 October 2025 from our in-house Omega-certified watchmaker.
The watch features a creamy dial with beautiful natural patina, a yellow-gold bezel, and a two-tone steel and yellow-gold bracelet with a central gold row, suitable for a wrist size up to 15.5 cm. Powered by a reliable Swiss quartz movement, it embodies both timeless design and daily wearability.
A superbly preserved vintage Cartier classic — elegant, collectible, and a genuine reflection of early 1990s luxury.

Founded in 1847 by Louis-François Cartier in Paris, France, Cartier has long been known as “the jeweller of kings and the king of jewellers.” A true symbol of French elegance and innovation, Cartier redefined what a watch could be — transforming timekeeping into an art form. Blending haute horlogerie with timeless design, every Cartier creation embodies sophistication, refinement, and a legacy that transcends generations.
Cartier revolutionized watchmaking in 1904 with the Santos de Cartier, the world’s first modern wristwatch, designed for aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont to tell time mid-flight — a creation that forever changed horological history. The Tank, introduced in 1917 and inspired by the geometry of WWI military tanks, became a symbol of understated power and modern design, worn by icons such as Jackie Kennedy, Andy Warhol, and Princess Diana. The Ballon Bleu, launched in 2007, brought a new level of elegance with its rounded form and signature blue cabochon crown, becoming an instant classic.
Owning a Cartier is not just owning a watch — it’s owning a piece of history, artistry, and French luxury. Each Cartier timepiece tells a story of bold innovation and enduring beauty, crafted for those who appreciate distinction, grace, and timeless sophistication.
