Offered for sale is a rare and fascinating piece of Swiss watchmaking history — the Doxa by Synchron Stratoquartz Ellipse, an elegant survivor from the Quartz Revolution of the 1970s. Featuring a striking blue sunburst dial, distinctive ellipse-shaped case, and original integrated mesh bracelet, this reference perfectly captures the bold design language that defined the era. Watches signed "Doxa by Synchron" represent an important chapter in the brand's history and are becoming increasingly sought after by collectors of vintage Swiss timepieces.
Presented in very good condition, this watch was fully serviced by our in-house Swiss-certified watchmaker on 29.05.2026 and is functioning perfectly. The watch is accompanied by its original presentation box, together with our PW Certificate of Authenticity and PW Service Certificate Card.
At the heart of the watch is the Swiss-made ESA (via ETA) Caliber ETA quartz movement, one of the pioneering Swiss electronic movements developed during the early years of quartz technology. Unlike modern mass-produced quartz calibers, these early Swiss movements were innovative, expensive to manufacture, and represented the cutting edge of watchmaking at the time.
The stainless steel ellipse case measures 30.9 x 34 mm and is fitted with its original bracelet, suitable for wrists up to 21 cm.
A rare opportunity to acquire an authentic and increasingly collectible example of 1970s Swiss design and early quartz innovation.
Every timepiece from PASHA WATCHES is backed by our commitment to quality and authenticity. We provide a one-year limited warranty on all pre-owned watches and a six-month limited warranty on vintage timepieces (over 25 years old).
Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover water or moisture damage, natural wear and tear, accidental damage, or issues caused by misuse or improper handling. The warranty also excludes external components such as the bracelet, glass, dial, hands, pushers, crown, and bezel, as well as any work performed by unauthorized service providers.
While we take every measure to ensure reliability, water resistance is not guaranteed on vintage watches, unless explicitly stated in writing.
Every PASHA WATCHES timepiece is inspected, tested, and prepared by our certified watchmaker — ensuring lasting precision, authenticity, and peace of mind with your purchase.
