An outstanding example of mid-century Swiss watchmaking, this Jaeger‑LeCoultre Ref. 2953 embodies the purity and elegance of 1950s Jaeger-LeCoultre design. Produced in 1957 and powered by the highly respected in-house Caliber P478/C, this reference is prized by collectors for its refined proportions, mechanical integrity, and understated luxury.
The watch is presented in excellent vintage condition and appears never polished, retaining crisp case lines and original character. The 14k (0.585) yellow gold case, a generous 35 mm in diameter (large for the era), is paired with a beautiful cream dial featuring applied yellow gold hour markers, applied Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9, and 12, and elegant gold dauphine hands. The dial is in very good condition with only light, attractive patina, adding warmth and authenticity. The original unsigned yellow gold crown, correct for the year and reference, further confirms the watch’s originality.
This watch was fully serviced by our in-house certified watchmaker on 12.12.2025 and is offered with its original box, a New Old Stock original LeCoultre leather strap, and an original gold-plated LeCoultre buckle, suitable for wrists up to 19 cm. Also included are the PW Service Card (12.12.2025) and PW Certificate of Authenticity.
A superb opportunity to acquire a truly authentic, mechanically distinguished, and beautifully preserved vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre—timeless, elegant, and increasingly difficult to find in this condition.

The warranty also excludes external components such as the bracelet, glass, dial, hands, pushers, crown, and bezel, as well as any work performed by unauthorized service providers.
While we take every measure to ensure reliability, water resistance is not guaranteed on vintage watches, unless explicitly stated in writing.
Every PASHA WATCHES timepiece is inspected, tested, and prepared by our certified watchmaker — ensuring lasting precision, authenticity, and peace of mind with your purchase.

Founded in 1833 by Antoine LeCoultre in the serene Vallée de Joux, Switzerland, Jaeger-LeCoultre stands as one of the most revered names in haute horlogerie. Known for its innovation, refinement, and technical mastery, the Maison has created over 1,300 calibres and holds hundreds of patents — earning its title as “the watchmaker of watchmakers.” Each Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece is born entirely in-house, from design to assembly, embodying nearly two centuries of horological excellence and artistry.
Jaeger-LeCoultre’s legacy is defined by revolutionary creations that shaped watchmaking history. In 1929, the brand unveiled the Calibre 101, still the smallest mechanical movement ever made — a masterpiece of precision and elegance. The Reverso, introduced in 1931, became an enduring icon with its ingenious swivelling case originally designed for polo players, uniting form, function, and timeless Art Deco beauty. The Memovox, launched in the 1950s, brought innovation to everyday life with its mechanical alarm function, while the Master Ultra Thin collection showcases pure minimalism and technical finesse.
To wear a Jaeger-LeCoultre is to wear a legacy of innovation, craftsmanship, and understated luxury. Each watch embodies the Maison’s pursuit of perfection — where every component, every finish, and every tick reflects a passion for excellence. For those who value heritage, artistry, and true Swiss sophistication, Jaeger-LeCoultre is not just a watch — it is a statement of timeless intelligence and refined taste.
