The Panerai Luminor 1950 Submersible PAM 00243 is one of the most iconic modern Submersibles, combining Panerai’s unmistakable DNA with serious professional diving credentials. Built within the legendary Luminor 1950 case, this reference is a true tool watch designed for extreme underwater conditions, boasting 1000 meters of water resistance, ISO 6425 certification, a helium escape valve at 9 o’clock, and Panerai’s patented crown-lock bridge for ultimate security.
This particular example is especially desirable for collectors. According to its COSC certificate, the movement was tested and certified in 2008, and based on the engraving on the caseback and international guarantee card, it is part of a limited edition of only 700 pieces worldwide. Furthermore, it features a Tritium dial (marked “T SWISS MADE T”), which develops a warm vintage glow over time—a rare and highly sought-after detail.
The 44 mm stainless steel case is paired with a unidirectional diver’s bezel and a black dial with luminous markers, small seconds at 9 o’clock, and a date at 3 o’clock with cyclops magnifier integrated under the sapphire crystal. The case measures approx. 17 mm thick, housing the robust COSC-certified OP III automatic calibre (based on ETA 7750), renowned for its reliability.
This watch, officially sold in 2010, is in very good condition and was fully serviced in August 2025 by our in-house Omega-certified watchmaker. The service included a complete overhaul of the movement and full water-resistance testing, ensuring flawless operation and dive-ready performance.
It comes as a full set, including the original outer box, presentation box, strap-changing tool, screwdriver, manual booklet, guarantee booklet, COSC certificate (2008), Panerai tag stickers, international guarantee certificate dated 28.07.2010, and the original receipt from an official Panerai boutique dated the same day. The set also includes both the original rubber strap (fits up to 21 cm wrist) and an unworn Panerai Velcro diving strap (fits up to 21 cm wrist).
The PAM 243 has become one of the most collectible modern Submersibles, with its Tritium dial, limited 700-piece production, and complete provenance making it a standout piece for serious Paneristi and collectors of professional dive watches.
