An exceptional example of Rolex’s most distinctive and technically advanced quartz creation — the Oysterquartz Datejust ref. 17014, combining a stainless steel case with an 18k white gold fluted bezel and the sharp, integrated design that defined the late 1970s and early 1990s.
This watch is in excellent condition, unpolished, and has had one owner since new. It comes as an exceptionally complete set, including the original and very rare Rolex outer box with matching sticker 17014/B and black dial sticker, the original Rolex presentation box (ref. 70.00.06) specifically for the Oysterquartz series, and an original letter from the Finnish retailer, dated 17 June 1991 and personally signed by the store owner.
Recently serviced on 10 October 2025 by our in-house Omega-certified watchmaker, the watch runs flawlessly and comes with a PW Certificate of Authenticity and Service Certificate. The bracelet retains all original links and fits wrists up to 19.5 cm.
Powered by the legendary Rolex Caliber 5035, the Oysterquartz offers precision, reliability, and a bold architectural design unmatched in Rolex history.
A superbly preserved, one-owner 17014 — complete, untouched, and accompanied by unique period documentation — a true collector’s piece from the golden era of Rolex innovation.

Founded in 1905 by Hans Wilsdorf and Alfred Davis in London, and now headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, Rolex stands as the ultimate expression of prestige, innovation, and timeless elegance. Every Rolex timepiece is a masterpiece of Swiss precision — crafted from the finest materials and assembled with unrivaled attention to detail. More than just watches, Rolex creations are enduring symbols of excellence and success recognized across generations.
The Submariner, introduced in 1953, set the standard for professional diver’s watches with its unmatched robustness and iconic design. The Day-Date, unveiled in 1956, quickly became known as the “President’s Watch,” gracing the wrists of world leaders and visionaries. And the Cosmograph Daytona, born in 1963, captured the spirit of high performance and speed, forever linked to motorsport legend Paul Newman.
Owning a Rolex is more than owning a watch — it is joining a legacy of explorers, innovators, and achievers who dare to go further. A Rolex is a mark of accomplishment, a companion for life’s defining moments, and a timeless investment in excellence.
