For sale is a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Ref. 6619 in stainless steel, dating to 1970. Based on its serial number (2,2**,) and original Jubilee bracelet 6251D stamped 3/70, this piece is confirmed from that year. It features a rare and attractive black dial, giving it a striking presence compared to the more common silver and champagne variations.
The watch is in very good condition and has been fully serviced by our Omega-certified in-house watchmaker in 09.2025, ensuring excellent performance. The case remains sharp, and the watch retains all of its original parts including the plexiglass crystal, crown, dial, hands, movement, and bracelet. The Jubilee bracelet shows some stretch, which is completely normal for its age, and fits a wrist up to 15 cm.
This example comes complete with its original outer box and Rolex presentation box, code 14.00.02, both in very good condition – a rare addition that enhances collectability.
With its period-correct originality, black dial, and excellent service history, this 1970 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Ref. 6619 is a timeless vintage piece that perfectly blends daily wearability with strong collector appeal.
