A timeless classic from Rolex’s golden era, this Rolex Oyster Perpetual Lady Date ref. 6516 from 1971 embodies the refinement and reliability that defined the brand’s early automatic watches for women. It carries the same DNA as the iconic Datejust line—featuring the waterproof Oyster case, self-winding Perpetual rotor, and date display beneath the signature Cyclops crystal.
This example is in very good condition and remains 100% original, retaining all factory parts. It was fully serviced on 5 October 2025 by our in-house Omega-certified watchmaker, during which the mainspring was replaced with a new genuine Rolex mainspring (the original mainspring is included, together with its packaging). The watch runs flawlessly and keeps excellent time.
It comes with its original Rolex presentation box, outer box, and service documentation, making it a beautiful and collectible example of an early Lady Date. The elegant silver dial is exceptionally well preserved, displaying warm vintage charm without signs of aging. The Oyster bracelet, stamped 3/71, is suitable for a wrist size up to 16.5 cm.
An elegant and historically significant vintage Rolex—professionally serviced, original, and ready to wear or collect.

Founded in 1905 by Hans Wilsdorf and Alfred Davis in London, and now headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, Rolex stands as the ultimate expression of prestige, innovation, and timeless elegance. Every Rolex timepiece is a masterpiece of Swiss precision — crafted from the finest materials and assembled with unrivaled attention to detail. More than just watches, Rolex creations are enduring symbols of excellence and success recognized across generations.
The Submariner, introduced in 1953, set the standard for professional diver’s watches with its unmatched robustness and iconic design. The Day-Date, unveiled in 1956, quickly became known as the “President’s Watch,” gracing the wrists of world leaders and visionaries. And the Cosmograph Daytona, born in 1963, captured the spirit of high performance and speed, forever linked to motorsport legend Paul Newman.
Owning a Rolex is more than owning a watch — it is joining a legacy of explorers, innovators, and achievers who dare to go further. A Rolex is a mark of accomplishment, a companion for life’s defining moments, and a timeless investment in excellence.
